About the Architect
In 1982, at just 12 years old, my dreams clashed with reality. While I yearned for Vans and Atari, my father introduced me to Pro-Keds and the Commodore Vic-20, urging me to craft my own video games. Thus began my odyssey into the world of coding, where I learned BASIC and Assembly, challenged by limited RAM and constant reprogramming. These early struggles instilled in me a resilience that would define my journey through a landscape where I was often the lone Black presence.
A pioneer long before it was fashionable, I defied odds and stereotypes, consistently surpassing expectations to forge paths others dared not tread. Despite my innovation and contributions to groundbreaking technologies, recognition eluded me, my advancement hindered by systemic barriers and economic disenfranchisement.
For over four decades, I've been a solitary figure in these realms, witnessing firsthand the pervasive disenfranchisement that plagues Black communities. The digital divide, widened by censorship and silencing tactics, serves as a stark reminder of the uphill battle we face. Yet, I refuse to be silenced or sidelined.
My journey has led me to a pivotal moment of clarity and purpose. I've heeded the call to action, embarking on a mission to rebuild and reconnect Black communities through technology. My vision is one of economic empowerment and collective action, where Black-owned businesses thrive, and voices are amplified without fear of censorship.
With unwavering resolve, I'm building an app that empowers economic defense and offense, enabling Black Americans to reclaim ownership of their financial destinies. Together, we'll bridge the digital chasm and usher in an era of decentralized social organizing, reminiscent of the prosperity of Black Wall Street.
Join me in this transformative journey. Together, we'll defy expectations, rewrite narratives, and forge a future where censorship holds no sway, and our collective strength knows no bounds.
